One of the most popular by far is sponsored listings on search engines.

These include Google Adwords, Yahoo Sponsored Listings and MSN Sponsored Listings. Google by far is the most popular, but they all work great. There is however one thing you need to keep in mind, they do cost money.

Right now the average price per click for the keyword "make money" is around $2.45 per click. You could have 50 people click on your ad and only end up with 2 people buying the product you're promoting. If this was the case and you were promoting our program, you just spent $122.50 in advertising cost to make a $39.00 upfront profit.

Again, this is another reason why people fail constantly and then complain that a program doesn't work.

Let's be smart and let's not act stupid. Obviously if this was the case it would have been a very poor business decision. With sponsored listings, keep in mind that the bidding on keywords is extremely competitive. To learn how to use sponsored listings properly takes time, effort and money.

In fact if you look at our program contents, you will see that we actually created a separate training section specifically for sponsored listings.

Sponsored listings is great form of advertising, just be sure to use it wisely. Test ads properly, use your keyword groups correctly and monitor them at least a few times a day.

With sponsored listings you have to have a budget that will allow you to test the market for whatever product or service you are promoting. If you test it the right way, most times you will end up at a break even for the first few days until you find out what is working and what's not.

The key to using sponsored listings in my eyes is finding niches within a certain market and then once I do find that niche, capitalize on it fast. The fact remains that any new niche, will not remain a new niche for very long.

Thousands of people literally make their living from sponsored listings. It's not a small living either! Many make well over $100,000 a month and are constantly tracking what is working and what isn't.

If you are new to sponsored listings, I recommend that you go to google and take about 20 minutes and learn how sponsored listings work. Don't get me wrong, I will be showing you tips and ads that I use to generate a ton of traffic - but to actually learn the system go to google and read through their tutorial.

We constantly receive emails asking us to teach more techniques on using sponsored listings, but I have to be honest with you. There are so many angles of using this type of marketing, we would have to create a separate program specifically for sponsored listings and there are already a ton of them on the market. Use the google tutorial and study it for a few days so you know what you are doing.

Once have gone through the tutorial, come back and I will show you exactly how I work this part of advertising and marketing for promoting any affiliate program.

Here is where a lot of people will make a mistake with this type of advertising. They will load in 200 keywords for one campaign.

The most amount of keywords that I use for any campaign is 10 to 15 keywords. It will give a better result and ranking within google than if you use 200 keywords, which means google will place you higher on the sponsored listings when people are conducting their searches.

Here is the point, I would rather have 20 different ads with 10 to 15 keywords each under 1 campaign then only 1 ad with 200 keywords. There is no limit to the number of ads you can generate with sponsored listings, so do not flood your keywords in to 1 ad.

Here are some of the more popular keywords to help you get started. Cut and paste them on a notepad and start breaking them down. Use the google tools to help you with finding similar keywords and other variations. You want to find niches.

Once you have created variations, break them up into groups of at least 10 keywords but do not exceed more than 15 keywords in a group. It can hurt you more than it can help you. Also, you will not want to use most of the keywords in the list below for your campaign.

Again, find variations and niches. The keyword "Make Money" has a current bid on it right now of about $2.45 per click to be ranked high. If 10 people click on your sponsored listing and don't buy the product you're promoting, you just lost $24.50 in advertising money that could have been used somewhere more profitable.
